PDL annouces further upgrade of Tonnage
PDL has great pleasure in announcing the introduction of a 4th new vesselinto the fleet in 2010 .
The “Southern Fleur “ will arrive in Auckland in early March to replaceSouthern Trader on the NZ to Noumea, Fiji and Vanuatu service.
Launched in 2003 with a capacity of 728 TEUs Southern Fleur is approx35% larger than the old Sthn Trader. With an operating speed of 17 knotswe are confident she will easily maintain the advertised dates for an 18 dayschedule
Already in 2010 we have announced new vessels on the Samoas andTonga trade “Southern Lily”, the Fiji to Wallis and Futuna ,Funafuti andTarawa service “Southern Pasifika” and the “Forum Pacific” on theNew Zealand to Rarotonga service . You can expect further announcementslater in the year with more exciting developments from PDL .
The ETA of Southern Fleur in New Zealand is 6th March to assume theadvertised dates for the Southern Trader V 182.
